你看過冰上曲棍球嗎？
上週六Riana和Ian、Stephanie還有May到台北小巨蛋看了場冰上曲棍球的比賽，

Bears vs. Tigers
On Saturday the CIHL (Chinese Taipei Ice Hockey League) Championship Final was held at the Taipei Arena. Did you go?
We were there!
Ian, Stephanie, May and I went together with some friends of ours to watch the ice-hockey finals. I saw the Bears play last weekend and liked them, so at this game I cheered for their team.
My friend was actually friends with one of the players on the Bears, so she screamed and cheered the loudest of all! It was really funny to watch her, she would jump up and dance when the Bears scored a goal, and when they missed she'd gasp and then cheer them on some more!
The game was really exciting because in the first period the Tigers were winning by 2 points... and the Bears still hadn't even scored one goal! They had many close misses, but just couldn't get that puck into the net. The Tigers' goalie was just too good!
Luckily for us, the Bears started coming back in the second period and actually scored their first goal! (...and my friend jumped out of her seat and started screaming and doing another dance - all the other people just stared at her )
Momentum is very important in hockey, and the Bears were invigorated after their first goal.
In the third period they not only scored again - but another three times to bring the score to 4-2 in favour of the Bears! At one point there were only 4 Bears on the ice playing against 6 Tigers. The goalies from both teams had to work hard to keep the puck out of their goals, and they did an amazing job!
I think that the audience was really feeling the spirit of the game, because during the third period they did the wave, just like at a baseball game. Everyone was very energized!
When the buzzer sounded to signal the end of the game, all of the Bears fans were elated. We'd won!
And nobody had bigger smiles on their faces than the Bears players; they'd won the Championships! Have you ever heard of the song "We are the champions" by Queen? That's what my friends started singing when the trophies were given out!
We took a photo with my friend's classmate, #18, and congratulated him on his team's win. I knew that there would be a big party on for the Bears that night!
Some of my friends decided to be hockey players and went out on the ice to play!
Silly boys...
All in all, we had a fantastic night. I can't wait for the next hockey season to start; perhaps we can make friends with some more of the hockey players!
