Riana的台南之旅下集來囉!
讓我們從外國朋友的角度來看台南吧!
At Chien Shan Pi Reservoir the accommodation was so cozy! We stayed in log cabins with big fluffy beds and pillows.
When I woke up, I realized how nice, soft and comfortable the beds were! I had slept so well, I didn’t want to get up straight away. When I did get up, I went around the resort with my friend taking pictures. It was very nice in the morning, and we discovered the entire resort by ourselves before breakfast. After we’d eaten, we played in the dragon “water bicycles” – racing against colleagues in other water bicycles, feeding the fish in the pond and just enjoying a peaceful time out on the lake. Chien Shan Pi Reservoir is really a very beautiful place!
In the afternoon, we drove to a special DIY coffee workshop, where we learnt how to make some really great coffee! I learnt that when you are pouring the milk into your coffee, you should do it slowly with only a small amount of milk going into the coffee… and don’t stir! The fun part was when we were making it; you can watch the coffee going from one glass into the other in the special coffee machine. It was a little bitter, but once you added some milk and enjoyed it with biscuits it was really delicious.

When we wandered out of the coffee workshop, there was a market nearby where all my colleagues went to. So naturally, I followed!
There were many things you could buy there – coffee favored liquor, pineapples, honey, coffee cookies and candies. Some of my colleagues bought some products for their family and friends. A few of them were looking at a special honey-vinegar drink, and trying samples. I tried a few of them, and although the pineapple vinegar was disgusting, I really liked a certain honeyed vinegar. The vendor told us that it is good for our health, so I bought some bottles to share with my friends back in Taipei.
After the stopping at the DIY coffee workshop and markets outside, we returned home to Taipei. Everyone was tired but relaxed, and I know that we all had a great time. Tainan is full of beautiful natural sights and delicious food. I really enjoyed going there, and if I have the chance to go again I won’t even hesitate!
Have you been to Tainan?
I look forward to seeing your stories!
