Ian在加拿大就有一個在安大略湖上的度假小屋，那是他們全家人最佳的消暑去處，

今天Ian要跟大家分享在那裡發生的有趣故事。

It's starting to get hot in Taiwan, and when it gets hot I always think about spending the summer at my cottage. In Ontario, Canada, a lot of people have cottages on lakes. My cottage is on Georgian Bay, two and a half hours outside of Toronto.

Our cottage is on a small island with no roads. We have to park our cars on the mainland and drive a boat to get there.

When we get to the cottage, everybody likes to relax. The best place to relax is the front porch. This spot has the nicest view, and the nicest breeze to keep the mosquitoes away.

My dad loves to barbeque. We eat barbeque five days a week at the cottage and my dad calls his hamburgers "Steve's Best Burgs". These hamburgers are really good and not greasy and unhealthy like McDonald's. You can tell my dad is barbequing when you see his glass of wine on the porch.

We have big dinners at the cottage. We have had as many as 25 people around one table for dinner at the same time. This picture is from my grandma's 85th birthday.

When I was a kid, I used to go to the cottage with my friends from Kansas every summer. We would do fun things like making giant 5 meter campfires or tubing.

Tubing is when you pull an inflated tube behind the boat. It was fun to make people fall off the tube so I used to make huge waves with the boat and then drive over them at 65 km/h.

One time we snuck out of the cottage at night and kidnapped Ronald McDonald. We brought him back to our cottage and took some photos with him. Afterwards, we decided to carry him across the island to show our friends on the other side.

When we were carrying Ronald through the forest, we heard a rattlesnake. Rattlesnakes are poisonous and my friend Mike is really afraid of snakes, so we had to leave Ronald behind and take Mike back to the cottage. Once Mike was safe in the cottage, my friend Nate and I went back and Nate carried Ronald back to his home.

We met the snake later on as well. After we met, we cooked him on the barbeque and ate him.

The cottage is really a fun place, and I have many more stories like the kidnapping of Ronald McDonald.
