Going to the Movies!
We decided to go to the movies and see Pirates of the Caribbean. We paid for our drinks at the coffee shop and head out the door.
Riana: Alright, let's go grab our tickets now so we don't have bad seats for watching the movie.
May: Sure. I like sitting in the middle so I have a good view of... – Oh no! Just look at the line!! It's going to take ages to buy our tickets!
Stephanie: Wow, I guess everyone thought it'd be a good idea to see a movie tonight. Hey, not to worry – look: there's only one person buying tickets at the ticket machine. I've got my card so I'll buy the tickets, and you guys can just pay me back.
May: Sounds good to me.
Riana: I'm glad you've got your card. Hey I'm going to get some drinks, anybody want anything?
May: I'll come with you. I'm a little bit hungry so I want to buy some popcorn.
Stephanie: Can you get me a coke? Thanks... um, so that's 3 adult tickets at 9.40 tonight...
To head out the door: to leave, depart
Eg: (On the phone) I'm just heading out the door now. See you in 5 minutes!
Bad seats: seats that are uncomfortable or with a bad view of the screen
Eg: Even if we get bad seats at the concert, I'm not going to miss out on seeing Robbie Williams sing!
To take ages (to do something): take a long time
Eg: You always take ages in the bathroom. Hurry up!
Pay me back: give back the money that was lent.
Eg: Remember that $50 that I lent you? Would you be able to pay me back now?
