Hey,

Canadian people are proud of our hockey teams, because we're the best! Taiwanese people are very proud about their food, and I understand why. It's amazing. I eat Chinese food every day. I rarely eat Western food anymore, and I don't miss it either. Sometimes I go to McDonald's, but I always feel strange when I'm there. I feel like I'm reinforcing the stereotype that Americans only eat hamburgers (even though I'm Canadian, people always think I'm American).

I go out for lunch every day, so people from my office show me good places to eat. I want to show everyone some of these places, and if you are around 大安 you can find one of the better places to eat.

別意外，Ian非常喜歡吃中式早餐！

The first meal of the day is breakfast, and I usually go to two places. At the one place I usually get 2 蛋餅s and a warm soybean milk. It is so good. This store is really easy to find, just go out of the main exit, take a right and you're there.

另外，Ian有時也會買養身的生機飲食當早餐，同時，這也是Stephanie的最愛！

Right beside the 蛋餅 and soybean milk shop a lady sells vegetarian breakfasts and drinks at a small stand. I bought a vegetarian roll from her today and I'm eating right now. The lady who sells these vegetarian breakfasts is really nice. If you go to her stand, tell her I recommended her breakfast rolls and maybe I can get a discount in the future.

By lunchtime, these shops are closed and new ones open up. Just past the two breakfast shops is a restaurant I call the "Red Brick Place". Why do I call it that? Because the building is made with red bricks and I don't know the Chinese name. If you go there, get the pork shank. It's delicious. Riana always gets chicken and rice.

港式燒臘也是不錯的選擇！Ian喜歡吃三寶飯還有雞腿飯。

Another good place to eat (it's not Chinese but...) is a Hong Kong restaurant a little further down the road. They get mad at me because I always order the meat from the front counter and I never eat their noodles, but their meat is their specialty. I love their chicken and their san bao. Definitely try this place.

烤肉飯的也很棒

If you are in the mood for a good 便當 then keep walking and take a left at the first big intersection. At this restaurant I recommend the fish. It's excellent.

想吃甜點時豆花是不錯的選擇

Lunch wouldn't be complete without some desert. A new 豆花 shop opened up last month. Their deserts are pretty good. Visit them and help out their new business.
