第四個禮拜,高空飛行時的活動
At the Airport!
In part 3, the three girls were going to board their plane for their holiday. Yay! Now, listen to them chatting as they enjoy their flight towards paradise…
Riana: I think I’m just going to sleep during the flight… it’s a little chilly in here though.
Julia: Just ask a flight attendant to give you a blanket.
Jessie: Here, I’ll push the service button for you.
Flight Attendant: Excuse me ladies, but you’ll need to stow all your handbags in the overhead lockers or under your seats. You’re also sitting near the emergency exit so I’m going to have to ask you to assist us if there’s an emergency. There’s an instruction card in front of you that you can read. If you have any questions or do not think you can do it, please tell me.
Julia : Hmm… that’s pretty interesting – Look at the diagrams for opening the door!
Jessie: I’m starting to feel peckish . I hope they bring around the dinners soon.
Julia: They’re just starting to give them out up the back, so we’ll get ours soon. I think I’ll order the green curry chicken and vegetables. It sounds delicious!
Riana: Hey, look in your in-flight magazines… you can order duty free stuff and pick it up on arrival! That’s just what the doctor ordered ; I can buy some perfume now that I don’t have to worry about the carry-on limits with liquids!
Jessie : Oh, and it also tells you how to use the remote control to watch movies. Excellent! They’re showing some really great movies.
Julia: They’ve definitely gone to great lengths to make flights more entertaining.
